TPO Roofing in Wausau, WI
TPO is the white single-ply membrane on most new commercial roofs in the country. Its seams are welded with hot air, so the seam becomes one continuous sheet instead of relying on glue or tape, and the white surface reflects summer heat off air-conditioned buildings. In central Wisconsin TPO works well when it is installed to the cold-climate details: enough fasteners or adhesive for the wind zone, good insulation under it, and flashings that allow for the membrane's movement through a winter. We install new TPO roofs, and we repair existing ones by cleaning and re-welding open seams, patching punctures and replacing failed flashings with welded TPO, not sealant.

Leaking right now? Protect the inside first
Move inventory, files and electronics away from the drip, shut off power to any light fixture or panel that is getting wet, and put down buckets or plastic. Keep people out from under a ceiling that is sagging with water above it. Don't send staff onto the roof during a storm, in the dark, or when it is icy or snow-covered. Low-slope roofs have skylights, open edges and slick membranes. Then request service: an active leak can usually be dried in temporarily until a permanent repair is possible.

Tell Us About the Roof
The building, the roof type if you know it, and what is happening: an active leak, a stain, ponding water, storm damage, or a roof that is just getting old. Active leaks go to the front of the line.
Roof Assessment
We walk the roof, trace the problem, check the drains and flashings, and take core samples or moisture readings where the insulation might be wet.
Written Options and Price
You get a written scope and price. When more than one approach makes sense, repair, coating and replacement are laid out side by side with what each one buys you.
Work Done and Documented
The work is done to the manufacturer's specification, and you get a photo report and any warranty paperwork for your files.

New TPO typically runs about $6–$12 per square foot installed with insulation and flashings, depending on thickness, attachment method, tear-off and how many penetrations the roof has. See the cost guide.
TPO can be welded at fairly low temperatures, though the welder settings change with the weather and every seam is probed. Adhered TPO systems have adhesive temperature limits, so attachment method matters for winter work.
Often. Clean, sound TPO re-welds well. Badly weathered or cracked early-generation TPO may not take a weld, and then a coating, recover or replacement is the honest answer.
